It’s easy! Every time you read a story on StoryForge or leave thoughtful feedback, you’re already participating. This is a community-wide challenge, and every single read and comment helps us reach our goals!

By simply reading a story in Storyforge during December, you’ll contribute to the community’s progress. Once we hit milestones on our challenge progress bar, everyone who participates will earn the corresponding prizes.

Nope! You can read any story on StoryForge to join the challenge. But if you choose stories tagged with seasonsreadings, you’ll unlock extra rewards!

Season’s Readings is all about celebrating the joy of reading together. While you’re welcome to set personal goals for yourself, the prizes are based on the progress our entire community makes toward the challenge goals.

Providing meaningful feedback to the author is the best way to share your thoughts. You can also discuss stories in Writer’s Circles, chat about them on our Discord server, or even post on social media. If you share online, don’t forget to tag us at @_storyforge so we can join the conversation!

Read and Connect: Jump into the amazing stories on StoryForge and see what your fellow writers have been creating! You can explore short stories, long novels and everything in between; every read helps bring our community closer together. Show some love and support by diving into their work!
Leave Feedback: Sharing your thoughts is what it’s all about! Constructive feedback can make a huge difference, from pointing out what you enjoyed to offering helpful suggestions. It’s all about helping each other grow in a positive and encouraging way.
Track Community Progress: We’re all in this together! As you read and leave feedback, you’ll see our community-wide progress bar grow. Watching our shared efforts add up is so satisfying, and every comment or read helps us get closer to our goals.
Earn Rewards Together: The more we read and share feedback, the closer we get to unlocking awesome prizes! Once we hit our goals, everyone who’s joined in will earn Quills, a reading tracker and even two special avatars to celebrate everything we’ve accomplished as a community.

Prizes and Rewards
You didn’t think we’d do something like this without prizes, did you? You should know us better than that by now! It’s not all or nothing either, the prizes roll in along the way.
If a specific amount of comments or inline feedback are left, everyone who left feedback gets:
50 = 2 Quills
100 = 5 Quills
200 = 10 Quills
400 = 15 Quills
600 = 30 Quills
750 = Exclusive Bookwarm avatar
1000 = Exclusive BookWyrm avatar
But that’s not all! Readers who check out stories tagged with seasonsreadings will earn extra Quills as a bonus.
Plus, everyone participating in the challenge will receive a personalized reading tracker to keep tabs on the stories they’ve explored.
There will be a tracker in the Community tab so you can see how close we’re getting. We’ll also have a leaderboard that will show the top chapter readers so you can see where you stack up with everyone else!
